We left London at around 9am and took our guests, a family from San Diego on a private tour of Windsor and at the Father’s specific request motor racing. The castle as always was magnificent and my clients were spellbound at the opulence of the Royal Apartments. Lunch was at one of our favourite watering holes and then on to the home of British motor racing, Brooklands.
Completed in the early 20 th Century, the first purpose built motor racing track in Britain , Brooklands now has a racing car museum and display of ancient aircraft and also some modern, including Concorde!
The Father was enraptured and his wife and 3 daughters even seemed to enjoy the displays. Tea was held at the close by Mercedes Benz World before we made our way home.
