We spend a lovely, relaxed day in the beautiful French countryside driving along the picturesque “Route du Champagne”. We have plenty of time to visit typical, timber framed French villages and enjoy fields of sunflowers. We stop at some of the most famous Champagne houses in the World such as Dom Perignon, Moet and Veuve Cliquot to wonder at the process of creating such a decadent potion. Naturally we taste the various champagnes on offer and select a favourite to take home with us.

Lunch, one of the highlights of the day is always held at a family run bistro and a relaxed afternoon is spent exploring the ancient city of Reims or tiny hamlets for souveniers. Of course we make time for crepes and coffee before we return home.
