It is fanciful but not entirely absurd to suggest that history was determined to make him her own from the moment of birth. Truly he was born for immortality.

A must for any Churchill admirer! The morning is spent touring Churchill`s private retreat and gardens, Chartwell. A truly beautiful family residence and retreat. Lunch is taken at a traditional Kent inn before we make our way in to London.

We head straight to the Cabinet War Rooms of WW2 to soak up the atmosphere and feel his presence as we explore his underground citadel. We then spend the rest of the afternoon admiring London`s statues and memorials to him, visit his London address, his tailor and finally we finish our wonderful day with a large brandy and perhaps even a cigar at his favourite bar.
