Hello Oliver,Mike and I just wanted to thank you for helping to make our recent trip to England unforgettable. All of our excursions were top notch, from your encyclopedic knowledge of the tour sites to Danny's incomparable driving skills. And if you hadn't selected and gotten reservations for such wonderful places to eat, we'd still be thinking England just excelled at fish and chips! Luckily, we got to sample food that was fit for a king.
We thought our trip next year to Greece might take us through London again but it just wasn't working out. However, we both have already spoken about coming back to see things we missed of which there are many. When we do, we will definitely set up our tours with you. And if for some reason it doesn't work out that way, we will always remember you and Danny fondly.

So, my dear Oliver, who would have thought it possible that I can drop you an email at 39,000 feet! The world is certainly changing! However, it is good that some things stay the same...for example, folks like you who help folks like us enjoy their holidays to the fullest. Clearly, this was a trip I planned for Joannie, who has spent decades reading about the royals (beginning with the British, some French, and lots of the Spanish), sorting out their loves, romances, and their rise and fall. Thus, it was natural that she always wanted to tour the great homes and castles and re-live that past. Thus, charged with that responsibility, the Lord cast me into your wonderful hands and you provided the rest. We had a great week. Danny was wonderful from his first meeting us in the lounge at Heathrow rather than having to negotiate the 300 sign waving drivers at the arrivals area, until he swiftly delivered us back to the departure lounge...and all in between. I must admit London and surround traffic has changed a great deal since my first trip in '63 and no longer would I ever attempt a self-drive! The day trips were well planned and executed (and not for the faint of heart!).Can never thank you enough! And, we look forward to our return in June.
If your travels ever bring you back across the pond, we would hope to be able to return the favor!

Danny was an excellent companion and driver. It wasn’t easy negotiating the narrow Dorset lanes in the big BMW, but he never gave us a bad moment. He was also a tactful man, knowing when to chat and when to stay silent, a quality we valued.
He was most ingenious at Charing Cross, where the car park was closed and he had to keep driving around, until we were off the train. He was in constant touch with us by phone and we found him without any difficulty, managing to stop very conveniently for us, directly across the road by St Pancras.

Hi, Oliver,Now that we are back in US, my wife and I both agree that, although we enjoyed Paris and Rome, the day we spent (Thursday, 4 June) in Dorset with Danny in hot pursuit of T. E. Lawrence was the best overall day of our vacation. We had just finished a crowded bus tour the day before (Windsor, Stonehenge, Oxford) and my wife was glad to travel in luxury for a change. The weather was perfect (we were very lucky with weather our whole trip, I have to say).
We did wander around narrow country roads a bit through various Warehams, but that was all part of the adventure. We ended with a fine time at Corfe Castle, having visited the Tank Museum, Clouds Hill, Lawrence’s grave, and much more. A dream come true for me, and I was surprised my wife took such an interest in tank history (then again, she is a teacher).
It was our driver who uncovered the fact that the woman “guide” at Clouds Hill was a “cousin” of Lawrence’s: Lady Theresa Jenkins-Teague, who is related to the Chapman side of Lawrence’s family. That was the highlight of the day for me.
I am now a proud member of the TEL Society, and I will be sure to recommend your services to anyone who needs a car in London. I am already compiling a list of places we must go on our next visit. :-)

Fate is very funny and it brought a guide to us that was very similar In age, incredibly personable, and we both have daughters very close to the same age. This made my wife very comfortable, and the tour seemed to fly by in just a few moments.
Also, since I work for BMW/MINI it was most appropriate to see your driver pick us up in a 7 series. I don’t know how you could have planned that any better.

Hi OliverThank you for Saturday.
We had a wonderful time. We were collected from our home at the allotted time and welcomed by Keith our driver for the day. We had a hour and a half drive into London before we picked up Vanessa, our guide. What a wonderful lady. She introduced herself and asked how long we were on the road. We told her and she recommended a toilet break and then we would get some coffee’s in St James park. This was spot on and the drink was very welcome.
We were asked if there was a particular place we would like to see. My wife wanted a photo of St Pauls from the millennium Bridge and so this was incorporated.
Vanessa was very approachable and presented her tour in such a way that she held our interest. She answered all our questions in a very knowledgeable way.
Everyone enjoyed the pub lunch in Mayfair and the food was really good.
The only disappointment was at Whitehall where we ran into some kind of protest march, but, Vanessa was quick to guide us away and we picked up our transport and moved on.
Keith did a brilliant job in avoiding jams and getting us to another place.
If ever we wanted a coffee or toilet break we only had to say. Keith even found a cashpoint machine for one of our party.
My wife loved the fact that we had our own personal guide and Vanessa was very patient when my wife wanted to take photographs. In fact she took some family shots for us!

Forgive me for taking so long in writing to you. I was up 24 straight hours the day we flew home (Wednesday) and it has taken me a bit of time to recover.
I want to thank you for the wonderful time we had with you! It would be hard to say what we enjoyed more – Stonehenge, Cotswolds or the London Eye but very easy to say you provided us with experiences we will never forget!
Mom loved all of it and I thank you for the kindness both you and Keith showed her. It wasn’t easy getting her around, but you made it a breeze and we missed you on the days we weren’t with you. All of the meals you booked were delicious. Mom loved the lunch in the Cotswolds – love it! We all did. The food was incredible and it was such a lovely setting. In fact, Mom wants to come back and spend more time out there. So you did a great job for us! I don’t know if you’re in touch with the place we went to lunch in the Cotswold (Lower Manor House?) but if you are would you please pass along to them how much we loved the food and a special thanks to the staff for their help with Mom?
You can be sure we will not think about our trip without thinking of you and Keith. I hope you have a wonderful Fall…hopefully allowing you some time with Olivia.

Hello –We made it home safely! We had such a wonderful trip. Thanks so much for helping us make it such a wonderful family vacation. Chase said he is going to go there for his “Weddingmoon” Lol!!
I spoke to Keith yesterday to see if Steve left a tube in the back of his car that had a painting in it…he called me back but got cut off. Do you know if he had it?
